Facebook's new feature in India ... recharge mobile from your FB account .. Learn how to do
Khulna Desk: FACEBOOK has rolled out new features for its Android users in India. Using this feature, users can now recharge their mobile number too. Please note that this feature is currently only available for prepaid and Android users.
Between the data leak dispute, Facebook has introduced the feature of mobile recharge in India. Now India's Android Facebook users can recharge the mobile from the Facebook app. However, when this feature will be available to the iPhone, the company has not yet been informed about it. This feature of Facebook will be a tough competition from apps such as Paytm, Freecharge, Airtel App, Vodafone App and Mobikwik. Using this feature, users can now recharge pre-paid mobile numbers of different mobile operators. In addition, future postpaid numbers will also be paid by using this feature.
According to the company, after some time this feature will also be offered on iPhone users and desktop site. To use the new feature, tap the hamburger icon near the Notifications icon to use it. Then the Mobile Recharge option will have to be searched. If it is not visible in the list, then tap 'See More'.
- After clicking on this option, the user will see the option of 'Mobile Recharge' or ‘Mobile Top- Up’ as below.
- After this, the user has to enter his mobile number and operator's name.
- For the convenience of the user, a list of different plans has been given on Facebook. Where he can choose the plan according to his facility.
- The user will have to make final payment in the next step. The debit & credit card option is currently available for the payment of recharge. Where the user will have to make the final payment throughout his account including his card number, expiry date and other information.
- After the successful payment of the card, the user's mobile will be recharged.
